Turn on/off leds using STM32F4 HID example

I want to interface keyboard using STM32F4 HID keyboard example. I am able to read keys pressed. I want to turn keyboard leds(NUM,CAPS leds) on and off.I have tried usb control packets as mentioned on web by other guys but still unable to turn on and off leds. What is the method to turn on/off leds? Thanks
