Hey all, I have been debugging a nasty issue that I have been having over the last couple of days. I am using the STM32n657I0 MCU. The issue that I observed were random crashes in my code. Luckily the problem was well reproducible. What I observed was that sometimes the ITCM memory was suddenly not accessible anymore, or some data had changed. To make certain that my code was not modifying the ITCM contents I configured the MPU to disallow write operations to the ITCM memory. Also I am not yet using DMA or anything like that, which could write to the ITCM.  After the bug triggers, I cannot read the ITCM memory anymore with the debugger or the processor, all other memories are still working and actually execute, which prints a nice crash log to serial.  When you encounter failing memory or other strange issues you would think maybe the core is unstable. So, I tried to decrease the frequency, which did not change the behavior at all. (I went from 800MHz to 200MHz). I also

  We are currently working on a project with the STM32U5 series running FreeRTOS and need to integrate the USB Mass Storage (MSC) class for adding pendrive / thumbdrive support. While exploring solutions, we noticed that CubeIDE doesn't directly support USB class configuration for USB host, and AzureRTOS's USBX seems to be the default recommendation. However, switching to AzureRTOS is not feasible for our project since FreeRTOS is deeply integrated into our system. So we’d like to know: * Can you please provide USB MSC stack for freertos as well for stm32U5 ?* If not, do you recommend any third party USB stack for this purpose?* Do you recommend the integration of TinyUSB open source stack ?

Hi,I've tried to use high-pass filter in MLC in MEMS Studio, but the results are incorrect for first windows in each data file. I found that result is different from the one from Unico, but probably because Unico just drops first 2 windows from each file (which is an error itself). Signal is a quite constant noise (sample data and project is attached). These are F2_MEAN_ACC_Z_FILTER_1 & F3_MEAN_ACC_V_FILTER_2 from MEMS Studio and Unico. Decision tree generated based on these filters makes no sense. Values of these features read from FIFO looks ok. Hello everyone, I am currently working on a project using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q mcu with USB UVC. For my setup, I am providing:  32 MHZ external clock to phy  144 MHZ system clock  In the documentation(TRM and CubeMX), the maximum external phy clock specified is 32 MHZ. However I need to achieve a 60 MHZ PHY Clock, which seems to be supported by the hardware but isn't explicitly listed in CubeMX or the reference manual. My questions are:  Is it possible to configure the external PHY Clock to run at 60 MHZ?  If so, does anyone have an example configuration or code snippet to achieve this? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Hello,I'm using the board NUCLEO-H563ZI paired with RVA35HI screen.When I just created the project and generated the code i could download the touchgfx project with the touchgfx application ("program and run target" option), but after trying to download it with IAR IDE (and having problems with it) the system is not working anymore; the screen stays white and when i try to generate with cubemx, the popup message on touchgfx asking if i want to reload after the changes is not showing up anymore.It seems that touchgx and cubemx aren't synchronized anymore.When i said i have problems with IAR i mean these messages when i try to debug:1- "There were warnings while generating flash loader input. See the Debug Log window for details"2- "There were 2 errors and 1 warning during the initialization of the debugging session. There is more infrmation in the Debug Log window. I am trying to get the USB CDC (Virtual COM Port) working on my STM32H743VIT6. I have successfully used this exact setup in the past, I would normally flash the code via ST-Link, plug in the USB micro USB cable, and the COM port would appear in Device Manager for Tera Term. However, currently, the device refuses to exit DFU mode and enumerate as a COM port, even after flashing the application code. step that i have done: 1. I pull BOOT0 to 3.3V to enter the bootloader. Device Manager correctly shows DFU in FS Mode 2. I upload my .elf file (My application code includes HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBVoltageDetector(); in main().) using STM32CubeProgrammer. The upload verifies successfully. 3. I disconnect power, move BOOT0 to GND, and reset Issue: The Device Manager still shows "DFU in FS Mode". It does not switch to the Virtual COM Port (CDC).  Hi all I have STM32 IDE installed in "C:\STM\STM32CubeIDE_1.19.0\STM32CubeIDE" and seem to work properly so far as I am on installing the 2 programs. I try to install TouchGFX 4.26.0 in "C:\STM\ to have those two in the same area., but I received an errorlike this one: Could not set file security for file "C:\STM". Hello, I would like to know the H264 VENC performance for the STM32N6 using the ST example: STM32Cube_FW_N6_V1.1.1/Projects/STM32N6570-DK/Applications/VENC/VENC_RTSP_ServerI have a hardware setup with a nucleo-n657x0-q + a ST B-CAMS-IMX camera module.Question 1: The example provided by the STM32CUBE_FW is for STM32N6570-DK. Hello,I am trying to run a touchscreen with STM32H7R7L8Hx and I am having multiple issues.This is the structure I used, I am using FreeRTOS and TouchGFX in the STM32CubeMX. Years ago I run a touchscreen with STM32H7A3RITx, it was easy because it was not asking project structure.When I add FreeRTOS it is adding both locations, I know I can simply exclude from build the top one but there are more issues. In the TouchGFX Designer it can't find the project file so it can't add include paths and source files correctly, so I have to make it manually. I think this is the most important problem, TouchGFX uses older version of FreeRTOS but STM32CubeMX adds newer version of FreeRTOS and I am not able to select FreeRTOS version.STM32CubeMX Version: 6.16.0TouchGFX Version: 4.26.0How can I solve these issues? I have been working on an IoT project using STMicroelectronics' STM32 microcontrollers, and I have encountered a unique challenge around power management. Hi,I’m trying to read internal temperature sensor on ADC1, but the ADC result is always 4095.I use STM32L471, and I know that the problem is not HW related, when I run a different bin it reads the temp ok.Tried to read VREFINT, raw value is also 4095.Attached below screenshots with clock tree configuration and code.p.s. also tested with different clock speeds and sample cycles with no luck.    

Hello, I have been trying to make the AEK-MCU-LNK work with my SPC56 discovery board with OPENOCD (I reached a dead end trying to make the .cgf files). So I have two questions:1.- I understand that the AEK-MCU-LNKU works with this SPC56 family using UDE. Is that true?2.- I saw in another post (https://community.st.com/t5/automotive-mcus/stellarlink-vs-spc5-udeskt/td-p/64794) in the last answer, that AEK-MCU-LNK with the UDE driver should work with SPC56 family. We have a query regarding STM32U375 PKA peripheral.As per datasheet, the peripheral is available for this variant. Under the "STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_U3_V1.2.1/Drivers/STM32U3xx_HAL_Driver/" we can also see that stm32u3xx_hal_pka.c and stm32u3xx_hal_pka.h driver files are available. However, the ST official product page - does not seem to mention this peripheral as a part of STM32U375 series.    Also, we cannot see this peripheral in graphical configuration .ioc. Please let us know if this is available as part of STM32U375 series and how to use it.We also need STM32U375.svd for debugging support, please share this file.

I have a project which runs fine using CMOX_PQC_ML_DSA_44_DET_SIGN_LOWRAM_ALGO but I would like to see how much faster I can get with CMOX_PQC_ML_DSA_44_DET_SIGN_ALGO. When I use it, cmox_pqc_dsa_sign returns 0x9000c, which apparently means "Not enough memory".I am also wandering what kind of memory we are speaking about because it does not seems to request heap memory and I don't expect it to detect if stack is large enough at runtime.I am going to have exactly the same question for CMOX_PQC_ML_DSA_65_DET_SIGN_ALGO and CMOX_PQC_ML_DSA_87_DET_SIGN_ALGO.Perhaps a more general question: is there a documentation for the cmox_pqc library ?

I want to use ILID9341 screen on STM32F407G-DISC1 without any libraries, just spi protocol. However, while the screen turns on, I can't draw anything on it. I am trying to connect the STM32MP257F-EV1, following the  guide on the wiki. Followed the LInux preparation. At startup, I get a blinking RED LD1 and steady green LED When start the laptop on windows, the device manager shows a DFU device a. Hey,I am trying to develop firmware for a BLUE-NRG module using Wise-studio, I have done this before on a Windows machine.Now I am trying to install Wise-studio on a MacBook M4 Pro, which is Apple silicon.I downloaded the .dmg and installed it, and gave it permissions to run.When trying to open the application, nothing happens.I have a java 21 JDK installed and working.Does Wise-studio support ARM64 processors?I successfully installed the IDE on a Parallels VM Windows 11 ARM64 instance, but cannot in macOS.Help will be appreciated! 

Dear ST Community, I have a working application for USB PD SPR and EPR and now I want to change the voltage (power profile) during an active contract.So e.g. I have 5V currently and want to request 9V from the source, or I have 20V currently and want to switch to 28V (EPR).How to do that? According to the USB Specification you would send a "Get Source Capability" Request so I used USBPD_DPM_RequestGetSourceCapability() [or USBPD_PE_Send_ExtendeControlMessage(m_uPort, USBPD_EXTENDED_CONTROL_EPR_GETSRCCAPA) in EPR]. Then the source responds with it's capabilities. USBPD_DPM_SetDataInfo gets called with the PDOs but USBPD_DPM_SNK_EvaluateCapabilities is never called afterwards....In SPR Mode nothing happens, voltage stays the same. In EPR Mode 30ms later a hard reset is triggered. Why does the ST Stack not Evaluate Capabilities after successfull reception of PDOs?
