Please fix Related topics list for Feedback forum. It is weird to see hardware topics while making topic in Feedback forum section.The same for tags 

I have suggestion. For example I can write post whole day. After about 10 hours while adding image/attachment I get strange msg “Yocto 5.0.webp: Something went wrong, please check your link and try again.” (where Yocto 5.0.webp is a name of my attachment) Perhaps this msg should be fixed to something like “Yocto 5.0.webp: Something went wrong, perhaps your session is expired. You should manually save all your progress and reload the page”

Here:But the most recent post in that thread is 1 year old: I guess this is an old thread woken by spam, and the spam has now been deleted ?But the forum should not be highlighting it in the ‘Recent Activity’ list.

I met the same problem: my account was blocked with msg “You've been banned or your account has been deleted”. I am old member. My post was about stm32 products with links to github repo. Please unblock me. Please allow old member (with history) to challenge the blocking. For me not clear how to do it without another account.

Should it ?I think the old forum did ?

Follow-on from: Generally, when a thread gets abandoned there may be some useful content in the replies - so it makes sense to keep the thread. But, if the thread is abandoned with no replies at all - is there any point in keeping it ?Examples:  (all now locked due to no activity for >1 year)

There are a lot of abandoned threads; eg,with no useful replies at all.That one is 2 years old, and still open for comments. Another:Also 2 years old, but that one is closed for comments.The final comment there looks like it is probably the solution, but no confirmation or other feedback from the OP. I think we needs a way to distinguish these abandoned threads from.They should probably be excluded from consideration as ‘Related topics’ - which is how I came across these 2. Not a new issue - it was the same on the old forum - and not urgent.But another for the “future enhancements” list … ? Related: 

There is no ‘Quote’ option on the opening post of a thread; eg, But it’s there on all other posts in a thread:  Seems daft & inconsistent to not have it on the OP !

I would like a “version control” tag in the forum.Sometimes there are questions related to version control such as generated code/projects not being git friendly or users need help with setting up a gitignore.

For a given forum, say “STM32 MCUs Products”, I guess subscribers only receive emails for new Topics, but not the replies. Is there any way to get emails for all the posts, including the replies? If not now, then I suggest/request adding that option to the user settings somehow. The old forum allowed one to capture pretty much everything for a forum of interest.

I have some subscriptions around STM32 community and appreciate email notifications for it. This gives me many mails every day with only a few of them beeing really interesting for me. So I have a look on my incoming mails from time to time and want to have at least a short reading in a few interesting ones and delete the others immediately.Before switching to the new forum SW I received emails for my subscription with a sender field reading Community Mailer and a useful subject line like e.g.:Re: Floating point vs fixed point calculations (STMicroelectronics Community Subscription Update)So I see could decide very fast which mails could be deleted immediately leaving only some of them to open for reading. Now all notification mails have the same sender again of course entry (now ST Community notification) and nearly all the same subject line like A new topic has been created in STM32 MCUs Boards and hardware tools. The new community seems to be very slow in terms of surfing it (3/6 second for each page load). It’s definetly not my internet as I’ve 1gbps and before it was super snappyEDIT above seems back to normalI’ve figured out that there’s no HTML view when edit the post________________________________________________________________________________________________ Another thing is that the answered questions have basically the same feeling of the unanswered ones. A green checkmark is not enought in my opinion. It should be highlighted more. 

This list, which appears in the right-hand sidebar of every thread: This is that highlighted one:It is 7 years old, has no replies, and is locked.It doesn’t seem at all useful/valuable to link to that post ?

We went through this on the old forum: We’re now back to the situation where an announcement, article, etc from ST looks exactly the same as a User question: There needs to be something that identifies this as Not A Question. Not particularly urgent, but something to add to list for “next stages” ...

Hello,After the migration to the new Community Platform, I appear to have lost access to my previous community account.When I logged in today, I was unexpectedly asked to enter a nickname again. There was an option to set this on the old forum, and it was agreed that ‘open in new tab’ was the best default. When this forum turns a post link  into a clickable box like this:it opens in the current tab.Please can this be changed to new tab ?

I’ve noticed that when replying to a post that I had written a lot of text and added images. I expanded (red circle) the text area (blue area) to see everything. I needed to copy some text from the OP so I used the scroll bar (red rectangle) to view the first post.But as you can see in green, it’s just a small area that can be seen and that is all that is seen during scrolling. The edit textbox stays in place and doesn’t scroll. If i expand the edit textbox even further, all of the green area is totally out of frame.
