No. I have not. Still waiting for ST's reply. This may be a VScode terminal implementation. But, I don't have enough information to tell.

Follow up on this, I can confirm the write operation does work to KSZ8863 as the original solution states.Hope this can help others who ran into the same problem.

I have went through the same problem. Same thing happens on STM32H5. The SMI read always returns 0. I have not tried to write the register ( stopped doing anything when I found read is not working ). Will try it and provide update later.

Hi Antonio, How do you make it send out OPCode = 0? Isn't the register only allows read or right for the command?
