Help me to understand AN4998 reference design for IPS161H single high side driver

Can someone tell me the purpose of the elements highlighted in the attached scheme? I can assume that capacitor C1 is a DC blocking capacitor, but why is it so big value? The purpose of R16 and C10 I can not understand
