Can I use STMCubeIDE (Windows OS) to write a simple bare metal application on the STM32MP157D-EV1 Cortex-A7?

Noob here..I'm aware I can to access the Cortex-M4 as STMCubeIDE generates both a project and code for it. But the generated project for the A7 is empty. I am only able to access the A7 using Linux? I am currently using Windows.
