404 Errors Installing CubeMX2 Packs

Hello,

I am using CubeMX2 Version 1.0.0 on macOS Silicon.

Various software packs fail to install with a 404 error like this:

Could not fetch content of pack-URL: https://developer.st.com/st-pack-server/api/v1/pack/STMicroelectronics.rot_provisioning.2.0.0.pack, got: 404 - Not Found

The following packs where tested and failed:

• rot_provisioning
• eeprom_emulation
• mcuboot
• fileX
• usbX (now installed via local pack from https://dev.st.com/stm32pc/)

Is this an error on my side, similar to the proxy or certification issues I saw in other tickets or are these packs just not available YET?

Secondly, I see support packs for e.g. the L4 MCU series: "stm32l4xx_dfp". What is the point of having these packs if CubeMX2 will not support these MCUs?

Problem persists with version 1.0.1.

Tested with mcuboot pack.

Hello @User_MV 

Regarding the first point, I have submitted an internal ticket for further analysis. We will keep you posted. 

In the meantime, please download the required packs from STM32 Package Creator 'https://dev.st.com/stm32pc/' as you did before, and install them locally in STM32CubeMX2. 

Internal ticket number: CDM0062505 (This is an internal tracking number and is not accessible or usable by customers).

Regarding the Second point: It was decided to display all packs available on the server and only indicate their compatibility with STM32CubeMX2:

• Yes: ST pack compatible with this MX2 version
• No: ST pack not compatible with this MX2 version
• Unknown: ST pack without compatibility info, or not an ST pack

Note: Any displayed pack can still be installed, even if it is not compatible.
