STMCube/HAL for STM32F4 - Suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am about to start a commercial product with STM32F429 MCU and have previous knowledge with std_periph_drivers. Since I have already read about bugs with HAL drivers sometimes before, would you suggest using them?

Hi pejic.predrag,

We recommend using STM32Cube/HAL, actually it has grants a great way to use, high portability and more efficient.. Even though we face minor bugs in very delicate use cases, there is no need to be hesitated to use the STM32Cube. Actually it’s used by many customers in a production phase and they are satisfied with it.

Now we have a STM32CubeF4 available in version 1.4.0 and the next release will be early next week.
