Browsing the STM32CubeMx Docs&Resources page for information.
The section "Application Notes for related Tools and Software" includes couple of links to documents targeting a specific MCU different from the currently viewed one.
I.e. browsing for STM32H5, or STM32G4 there are also shown
"Getting started with STM32N6 MCUs in STM32CubeIDE". And it's the same with WL, L5, MP1, ... CubeIDE ANs.

Hello @Tom_pm
Seeing application notes for other MCUs in the CubeMX Docs & Resources page is expected and intentional. These documents in the "Application Notes for related Tools and Software" section are meant to help all users of STM32Cube tools, regardless of the specific MCU family.

Yes, I am using CubeMX 6.16.0, and I think it was always the case, but with each new series it increases by one document.

Hello @Tom_pm
The "Application Notes for related Tools and Software" section in STM32CubeMX Docs & Resources provides general guides for using STM32Cube tools, which are applicable to all STM32 MCU families, not just the one you have selected. For documentation specific to your chosen MCU, such as detailed technical information and programming details, refer to the "Reference Manual," "Programming Manual," and "User Manual" sections. These sections contain documents tailored to your selected MCU or family, ensuring you have the most relevant and accurate information for your development needs.

I guess it is intentional, but adding new MCUs every year this becomes a bit bloated, so I'd suggest to consider filtering out not really related stuff and only including documents that may be helpful for the selected series.
Btw. it would great if a search bar could be added to filter the documents.

This has been an issue for a while. The filtering on the webpage seems to be better.
STM32U5 series - PDF Documentation - STMicroelectronics

Hello @TDK
Even on the webpage STM32U5 series - PDF Documentation - STMicroelectronics the Application Notes contains both general and family-specific documents, not all application notes are exclusive to STM32U5

Yeah! Also, having the possibility to order the documents by the latest update date is really handy.
2025-11-18 4:57 AM
While they are not all exclusive, there aren't any which are not applicable, unlike in the STM32CubeMX view.
For example, these three in the STM32CubeMX view are not applicable to STM32U5 at all:
Those ones are not listed on the website view.
