Missing Team integration

I'm comparing against TrueStudio.

  1. Missing Subversive (and any version control system). Not a big deal to install from Community
  2. Bigger deal is missing "Team Synchronize" perspective. I can't find a way to enable or download from Eclipse community. This makes this tool unusable to me.
  3. Once I install Subversive and check out TrueStudio project, it doesn't do an import, so project will not work. This is a nice to have.

I faced the same with eGit, I had to install it from the Marketplace. And then even if the "Team Synchronize" perspective isn't there (don't know why...) most of its views are available from Window > Show View menu or "quick access" text field (close to perspective chooser).

Anyway I hope that developers will read it and make it possible with next release.

Thanks for the pointer.

With your suggestion, I can make the SVN Repository perspective look essentially like "team synchronize"

Wish ST would have done this though...
