In stm32cubeIDE, to enable HSE and LSE mode configuration there are options like bypass clock source and Crystal/Ceramic Resonator.

whats the difference between bypass clock source and Crystal/Ceramic Resonator.

I don't use CubeIDE, but bypass should not be available for HSI and LSI, only for HSE and LSE. You use Bypass, if you have an external clock source; otherwise use a crystal which forms oscillator with the internal feedback amplifier.
