An error occured while using CubeIDE on my Ubuntu LTS 26.04

Friends, I've encountered a bug while running CubeIDE 2.0 on my Ubuntu (KDE desktop). When I open my project, I notice the code editing area flickers. This often happens when the sidebar scrollbar is activated (forgive me, I'm not sure how to describe this element). Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? How should I resolve it?

This appears to be an Eclipse issue, and I've found a possible workaround: switching the editor theme to dark prevents the problem from occurring.

Try to install recent Eclipse CDT with the native Linux gcc & make. Create a simple hello world project, play with it.

If similar issues occur, complain to Eclipse and Ubuntu. Else compare the Java environment of that Eclipse and CubeIDE: the java runtime version, run parameters and so on.

I'm not really familiar with this distro / version.
Is the desktop X11 or Wayland based ?

This might help ST for testing, just in case ...
