Hello,
I am trying to set up a project using STM32Cube Extension in VS Code. When I attempt to select the Nucleo‑F207ZG board in the Board/Device selector, the board does not appear in the list.
The stm32cube_core output shows the CMSIS_PACK_ROOT environment variable, and under that directory the file .Download\cache\scanner_391867825626163.cache contains entries for nucleo-f207zg as well as STMicroelectronics.nucleo-f207zg_hw-board.1.0.0.pdsc. Despite these files being present, the board is still not discovered by the IDE.
Could you please advise what additional checks or steps I should perform to resolve this issue?

@modecs
Nucleo‑F207ZG board is supported. Please provide more details in the search text field to clarify your request. The drop-down list is intentionally limited in item count because the STM32 portfolio includes more than 4000 devices.

I am aware of that as well. As described above, when using STM32Cube → STM32CUBE KEY ACTIONS → Setup STM32Cube project(s) and searching for Nucleo‑F207 in the Board/Device dialog, the board does not appear, as shown in the screenshot.
I suspect that the extension fails to retrieve the board/device information, causing the entries for this board and its associated IC to be omitted. The missing entries include all Nucleo boards that use the F2 and F4 series, as well as the entire STM32F2 and STM32F4 IC families.

Thank you. I also experienced the same issue NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS as the author of the linked article, and confirmed that it works properly after setting NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS.
