Stm32mp157a Emmc Booting Issue in Custom board?

Hi,

I am using stm32mp157a processor in my custom board. Fsbl and ssbl is booting from Sd card.When i try boot through Emmc it is not working,even files are not loading. I have followed below link for emmc booting https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000HypghSAB/emmc-questions

When i enter ext4load mmc 0:4 0xC0000000 tf-a-stm32mp157a-dk1.stm32 command in u boot prompt it is showing below Error.

Failed to load tf-a-stm32mp157a-dk1.stm32. What is the issue.How can i resolve this error.

Hi @Sindhu Vadde​,

Could you share more information on your overall HW setup ?

  • Did you use default eMMC boot pins (as stated in AN5031 or (https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32_MPU_ROM_code_overview#Boot_from_e-E2-80-A2MMC-E2-84-A2) ? Otherwise, did you setup OTPs?
  • Could you share the BootROM log (https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32_MPU_ROM_trace_analyzer#On_STM32MP15x_lines) ?
  • Please confirm you are using a Silicon Rev.Z ? Rev.B has boot issue with most eMMC (See ES0438 for details)
  • Did you try programming eMMC using USB with CubeProgrammer ?
