cups and hplip printing error with Stm32mp157 usb.

Hello:

​I installed 'cups' and 'hplip', and successfully installed HP_ LaserJet_ 1010 driver through 'hp-setup', but when I print files through 'lp', the printer doesn't respond, and a 'filter failed' error occurs. I want to install hplip-3.19.12-plugin_run, but failed. This is the error log:

At first sight, this issue looks to me unrelated to STM32MP157 Soc or USB integration.

I suggest you rather try to find help in CUPS community.

As a simple clue, I would start to check what means "No viable font found" and if it can explain the failure.

eg that post which looks to treat about a similar problem

print text file fails with "no usable font available" · Issue #5165 · apple/cups (github.com)

Hi @zxiao.4​ 

The hplip-3.19.12-plugin.run is a HP proprietary package and is not available in the stm32mpu ecosystem. You have to install it by yourself or request help from HP support.
