Remote screen rendering using STM32 MCU

Moamen Ayman

Hello, I am working on a project where I need to render a computer screen over internet on an LCD controlled by STM32 MCU, like logging to a remote computer from your computer using teamviewer, SVN or remote desktop.

The LCD I will use is 13.3inch with eDP 1.3 (30 pins) interface, I attached its datasheet.

The remote computer runs GP-OS like windows, Linux, Mac or Android. The first important part of the project will use windows PC.

1- Could you suggest me a proper sdk or embedded software that I can run on a proper STM32 MCU (most probably F7) to render the remote computer like what teamviewer does between 2 computers.

2- Should I interface the LCD directly to the MCU through edp interface (is it supported?) or use edp to dsi(which is supported by many st MCUs) converter for example.

Thanks in advance!
