Camera interface firmware size in SRAM

Sir,

I want to interface camera module that gives throughput of 28Mbps, & I want to interface it to STM32F207.

The same data is to be sent to wifi module using USB 2.0 by making STM32F207 as a host.

For this I want to know the firmware size that would be & also would there be sufficient SRAM available for loading wifi drivers?

Does the WiFi driver need to load into SRAM? What's you experience with this driver on other platforms you've used it on? What does it need there? Have you written many USB Host drivers?

It's not a host example ST typically provides. The data rate you indicate suggests you'd need an external USB 2.0 HS PHY

If you don't have any experience writing USB host drivers, this probably isn't the platform to learn on.

Dear Clive,

I am a Hardware Engineer beginner & dont have any experiance regarding USB or any other interfaces.

All i need to do is to Interface camera module with resolution 1280X720p @ 30fps data stream (DVP interface) with STM32F207 & make it Wifi.

For this I am asking what would be easier for me,whether to use 54Mbps wifi module with SDIO interface or a wifi module with USB interface.

What all parameters would I need to look at? Please guide me.
