the fractional part of USART Baud rate generator for UART ports is not properly left shifted when the user selects to activate the X8 decode modality. This is critical when we have to pickup high frequency with good accuracy. So far we are post correcting the faulty generated baud rate. We would appreciate if you can patch the code in the actual HAL libraries to reflect manual specifications and deliver an update for STM cube MX.
