If nBOOTMODE is asserted (pulled or driven low) when coming out of reset, the processor starts executing an embedded serial boot loader instead of its normal program. Is it possible to prevent this behaviour so that the embedded serial boot loader is no executed when the nBOOTMODE is low after a reset?

Dear all,
I am just looking for the same anwser to dandu's question because I need to prevent entry to the System memory boot loader even if BOOT0 is driven low. Do any Option Bytes help for that? Is anybody from ST could reply? Best regards, ThierryOptions

Probably not, and perhaps something you'd discuss with your FAE, or local rep.
