STM32H725IG... Direct SMPS vs SMPS followed by LDO for the VCore

The voltage for the STM32H725IG MCU available in our application - 3.3V.

This MCU has both SMPS and LDO.

According to the power consumption, SMPS consumes lesser power.

But we are confused about what would the benefit of choosing SMPS cascaded with LDO vs Direct SMPS?

Is Direct SMPS just enough for our application? (We don't intend to use the output of SMPS in our application)
