‌,You can do without external RAM, however you are limited to screen size in comparison to external RAM.
Depends on color depth and F429 version, you can drive different LCDs, but for sure not the one with 800x480 resolution.

e a look to the AN4861 'LCD-TFT display controller (LTDC) on STM32 MCUs ' whichis a very detailed application note explaining many important aspects such as graphic configuration, display resolution compatibility and performances aspects.Hope this helps you.

‌,STemWIN is not related to the issue of 'internal RAM only'. Please note that STemWIN requires quite a lot of RAM to just run itself. Actual RAM required for STemWIN depends on number of widget, fonts, features, etc.
