i have used stm32f407 and timer 2 in encoder mode (in 4X mode) , but after long hours of debugging , i have found the problem with the IC1 and IC2 polarity , selecting this option will cause the timer to no count , while if Rising or falling edge is selected it works properly . why can this option be selected if it is not supported in this mode . and shouldnot it be used when working in TI12 mode ?
another thing is input filter calculation , datasheet is awful at showing how to calculate it and its relation with clock , instead F(dts) is used and N=x , with no figure for explanation
