STM32F334 HRTIM power consumption

The data sheet says 324.2 µA/MHz. If we take that at face value, this means a whopping 46mA at the maximal 144MHz. Is that really true? It seems a tad disproportionate.

I'd be interested in an approximate breakdown of the currents: DLL "base" current and per-channel currents.

I'd be glad to hear about the competition, too, if anyone has hard data on that. The dsPIC33FJ32GS data sheet shows that this one actually _is_ that bad (~90mA at 120MHz with 8 sub-steps). I haven't found anything conclusive for other manufacturers yet.

TIA

The H7 has the HRTIMER but is "only" speced with 40 uA/MHz. As H7 HRTIMER has no DLL, this observation may help you in breaking down the currents.
