ST Link to virtual comm port

Please excuse my question as I am sure it has been asked before. I am a bit new to ST microelectronics. I am suing the nucleo-f767. I noticed that on my windows device manager there is STMicroelectronics STLink Virtual COM Port. I would like to use tera term as console output ("printf). Could anyone point me to a procedure to allow this functionally.

ST Link includes "FTDI USB to USART" function as it's a composite device:

  • Mass storage so you can drag and drop a bin file to reflash the STM32 (mbed or else)
  • Debugger function
  • VCP serial com port : The STLink acts a USB to USART bridge, which is connected to the target user MCU Usart. Check the schematics of the chosen board.
