MOQ and delivery times of STM32F103VBT6
2011-05-17 03:24 AM
Information: I just checked the 100 pin STM32F103VBT6 for a new project.
I have asked the local distributors about MOQ, Minimum Order Quantity = 540 units !! and standard delivery time = 8 weeks if now on stock !! is this really true ST ? a tray consist of 90 units ! so you pack 6 trays in a sealed parcel, and refuse to sell smaller than this ? well the 8 weeks, we are getting used to good planning and order samples and ramp up volume parts our self, and we warn our assembly partners to purchase critical parts in good time. But do you like to be rated ''critical part'' or would you like to be rated ''standard part easy to get''2011-05-17 03:24 AM
oh more news !!
ST have a minimum value pr order line of xxxx euro, so that is why we can only order min 540 units of that device type. get it ??2011-05-17 03:24 AM

yes I can, we have farnell all over the world, but see the price,
5-8 times as hight as our normal distributers ! I just want short delivery times, always on stock, and reasonable priced. it is ok to have a MOQ of one tray, no problem there, if I need sample volume I shop at farnell :) or ask for samples from ST and distibutors NP. ST have been more than friendly with us, with samples and support. but to say the MOQ it not due to packing but is a money issue pr order line is a bit wierd ? sounds not exactly customer friendly to me, but lets see, I hope it is a misunderstanding and they will sort it out, I will keep you updated in any case. PS, I love ST and their parts so dont get me wrong, I just question the MOQ and delivery times they inform their distributors, in many cases customers call in and talk with sales department, they dont care if it is micros or car tyres they sell for that matter, they read up what is on their screen, and in some cases scare big important customors away, that is what I am affraight off. so I say this to HELP :) ok.. :p BTW: I am not trying to hide behind my alias, I wrote a question to the support team of this forum along time ago, still no answer about how I can change my display name into my real name, I also have asked how to add avatar like I see some users have, still no clue about that, anyone ? yours: Thomas Scherrer-Tangen R&D RF MCU PCB SW HW Combilent A/S Denmark[ This message was edited by: tta on 18-02-2008 20:17 ]2011-05-17 03:24 AM
