In stm website usb driver available for windows 7 and above only..

Windows XP is officially no more supported by Microsoft since april 2014 !!

We did not remove anything in the

http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/development-tool-software/stsw-linkhtml

package that prevent functioning on XP, but we removed from documentation as STwon’t provide any support

on obsolete system in case of failure.
