Some of the grander Evaluation/Discovery boards use an STM32L152 as a slave Multi Function eXpander with an I2C interface. It's pre-programmed with firmware that provides access to some of the peripherals on the board.
As it happens, I'm about to develop the exact same thing. I'm an engineer, so I don't want to reinvent the wheel (especially since that wheel is a pretty good fit). However, it seems ST hasn't released the source code for the MFX. In fact, they barely describe the interface at all.
Does anyone know if the MFX v3 is open source and where I could obtain it?
