We are using the SensorTile (STEVAL-STLCS01V1), in a product which is intended for deployment in field trials at various remote locations.
In addition to the SensorTile, the product contains a communications processor which manages several radios. Interprocessos communication is via UART, and the comms processor can reset the SensorTile.
We require the SensoTile's firmware to be updatable in the field, and because of the remoteness of the installation sites, over-the-air update via BlueTooth isn't feasible.
We'd like to perform firmware update over serial, however the SensorTile processor's Boot0 pin is tied to ground, which means that we can't access system memory, and hence the SensorTile processor's BootLoader.
Does anyone know how to perform firmware update over serial on a SensorTile (STEVAL-STLCS01V1)
