Clock cheat sheet

May I ask for something even harder?

Has anyone got a diagram of how the peripherals, clocks and enables interrelate?

It feels like someone somewhere must have drawn that block diagram to maintain their sanity. Preferably on something no bigger than A2 :) I'd love a copy!

Look in the Data Sheet for the specific device you are using. There should be a ''Clock Tree'' diagram.

John F - I agree the clock tree is a central part of it.

I'd like the actual control register names/bits annotated, so I can see what to set/clear.

Also, I'd like ALL the peripherals added, so I don't have to look at which bus it lives on etc.

Then I would be able to see what is needed to enable *any* peripheral by looking in one place, without flicking through dozens of sections of several manuals.

For example, see needs to be set for USART2, or DWT by looking at one diagram. It is the clock tree + register details + an answer to the original posters question, on a handy wall poster-sized diagram (come on ST, just think of the massive sales of posters :)

Is that a bit clearer?
