I have started a rather ambitious project. I want to create a good smart watch. I have stm32l4r9 discovery board. My idea is to test how discovery board integrated Cortex M4 MCU can be integrated with separate BLE module, which comes with own Cortex M0 MCU. The reason for this is to achieve better power consumption with powering on only the BLE module with M0 MCU, while the "main" M4 is in sleep mode.
First question: Can you guys recommend any BLE + M0 module that I could easily use/fit with my l4 discovery board?
Second question: What you think about this inter-processor approach? Do you think it will save good amount of power? Does it worth spending time to investigate?
