Is there anyone here could show me how to find the break function or instruct me how to apply break the motor please? I'm using G431B ESC1.
As from the Release Notes for X-Cube-MCSDK, there are couple of ways to use break in FOC:
- Dissipative DC link brake resistor handling;
- Motor phases short-circuiting (with optional hardware over-current protection disabling);
However I can't find any docs or descriptions for these.
I ticked on the Dissipative break option in the Motor work bench and then update codes, but I have not seen any changes on the updated .ioc file and codes neither. And I can't find the any of functions relate to break.
Cheers,
Phan.
