B-G431B-ESC1 : using a magnetic position sensor

is it possible to use this board with an axial magnetic position sensor ( instead of HAL sensors) , such as AS5147U (from AMS)?

The magnetic position sensor AS5147U has incremental outputs.

So there should be no problem.

AS5147U has an ABI mode (A and B for quadrature encoder and I for index also sometimes denoted by Z). So you can use it by connecting A and B outputs to H1 and H2 inputs (board should have solder pads instead of physical connector) and select Encoder in Speed Sensor.
