Well I clear it so it doesn't get stuck in a loop, so at the next reset it goes through our boot loader / application. There are a million ways to do this, I presented this as clean and concise.With the F2/F4/F0 parts there is also a way/need to map the boot rom at zero to allow DFU, interrupts, etc to function in a manner consistent with setting the BOOTx pins.
