Timer 15 PWM Mode 1 not working on Nucleo L476RG

blauer_enzian

Hello everybody,

I am trying to get PWM Mode 1 working with Timer 15 Channel 1, but PA2 (D1 Pin on the Nucleo L476RG Board) doesn't output any signal. The inverted Channel (CH1N) on the other hand is working.

I also tried to configure PA2 as an output and setting it to High, but couldn't get a signal.

First i thought it's maybe a problem, as PA2 is the pin for Tx UART, but i deactived the UART in the CubeMX software.

I am using STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.11.0 Build: 13638_20221122_1308 (UTC)

Thanks for helping me out already.

Kind regards

blauer_enzian

Did you look at the Nucleo schematic or user guide to see if the pin is hooked up or hooked up to something else?

Edit:

Solder bridges are default open. This is likely the issue. It's usually in the user manual as well.

Thanks for your quick reply!

That is the issue yep. I just hooked up the probe directly before the solder bridge (SB63) now everything looks like it should.
