We have a few STEVAL-IHP002V2 modules and a STEVAL-IHP005V1 module to setup an experimental smartplug application using PLC. We are faced with two major issues and spent a lot of time trying to figure out and hope you can help us with giving us some hint on what we are doing wrong.
First with STEVAL-IHP002V2 smartplug board we connect the RS232 to our PC with hyperterminal and tried to configure as per the AN3046. We can see text reply from module and cannot send any command like set, get. I searched on internet for the two GUI mentioned in AN3046 "ST PLM Dongle Programmer" and "ST PLM Frame Manager" and I cannot find these two softwares. Can you please let us know where to get these two software so that we can configure and setup these modules as master nodes or Receiver /repeater node.
Second we want to use STEVAL-IHP05V1 GP PLM to talk to all our smartplug nodes and receive data through RS232 to our PC. We found the GUI software "Remote Console for GP ST7540" and installed on a few PCs running on Windows 7 and Windows 10 with compatibility mode set to Windows 7 and then tried all other versions of Windows. The software installed without any hitch but when we run it gives an error "Remote Console has stopped working". We are unable to go past this step and unable to figure out what is wrong here.
Can you please help us to get these three GUI software and we hope after that we will be able to follow the Application notes to setup these modules.
