Posted on September 20, 2013 at 23:33I downloaded the Pspice model of this ultrafast diode and simulated as a rectifier in the full bridge configuration. It showed that it has a very snappy recovery with voltage across the diode shooting to a high level ( with snubber included). But the data sheet mentions this diode as a soft recovery diode. Would you please go through the pspice model and let me know. Is this a soft recovery diode or a snappy recovery diode?,
