ST1PS03 is taking a while to reach the programmed voltage...

I designed a simple breakout to test the ST1PS03A and left PGD and the entire AUX block unconnected including AUX (enable). I am getting the output voltages expected from the D0/D1/D2 truth table but it takes tens of seconds to get there. I am wondering if this is because I left AUX open when this should have been grounded? Unfortunately this pin is not exposed on my current breakout so I can't test this. I have since redesigned the breakout to have access to all of the pins so I will check myself in a couple of weeks. But I am worried I might be missing something else...any ideas? Thanks for any help you could offer.

This does indeed seem to be a result of not setting the AUX pin. On subsequent redesign where this is pulled to GND the voltage does respond to dynamic changes of the DX input pins but still requires about 2.5 s to stabilize to a final value. I designed a small breadboard power supply using the ST1PS03 which will prove very useful as a utility board for benchtop testing.
