I need a help to identify this part

Hello!

I have two components (in SMB package probably).

The markings are:

1) ME G3 202 (no polarity stripe on package)

ME G3 202.png

2) EE G3 223 (with polarity stripe)

EE 63 223.png

Can you help me decipher what these elements may be and what may be the difference between ME and EE and the fact that one has polarity stripe and the other does not?

Regards

C. Jones

ME = SM6T18CA (bidirectional)
EE = SM6T18A (unidirectional, same data sheet)

The unidirectional TVS has a unique polarity, which is why its cathode is marked with a dash/bar. The bi-directional one is electrically symmetrical and can be installed with any polarity.

Hope that helps?
