I have to design a power supply for our new product. I would like to implement this with a flyback converter. The biggest las on our board is the IMX.8, this changes its power profile depending on the requirements.
Key points of my design:
- 230VAC input
- Input buffering of 400ms, due to external requirements
- PowerWatch function. This function should allow an interrupt to be triggered on the µC when the input voltage drops below 85%.
- 5 V output voltage
- 4 A output current
- dynamic adaptation to load jumps
Is there any proven IC that can be implemented well regarding later CE certification, as this is my first design regarding AC/DC application.
