I'm experimenting with the EVAL6470H dev board and the Spin Family software. I can get the values for motor inductance and motor winding resistance for the motor I want to use but I cannot find a spec for the Ke value.
Can anyone help me understand how to measure this value or where to find it or calculate it?
I've tried measuring the BEMF of the stepper motor (driven at 1000 RPM gives 38V). From my calculations, that gives a Ke value of around 0.362 but that simply does not work so I must be doing something wrong.
Experimenting with different Ke values makes a huge different to motor performance so I really need to work out what the value should be.
