“What could happen if the exposed pad of the LD39200 is not properly grounded? Could it affect its functionality?
Is there any limitation regarding the reflow temperature for the LD39200, considering that everything seems fine initially but only 0.4 V are output with a 5V input?

A linear regulator will drop some voltage and together wuth the delivered current dissipates heat. The best heat transfer is via the exposed pad to a large copper area. A no-connect exposed pad withh increase the thermal resistance substantial and can lead to overheating. Do connect!https://www.mikrocontroller.net/forum/markt
