Hello
I would like to control a hydraulic valve (24V, 0-2.6A) proportional (0-100%) with a PWM signal from a MCU. I need to measure the current, detect open loop and short detection to VCC. I found the VN5E050J-E, but I'm not sure it can handle PWM as the datasheet says nothing about maximum switching frequency. Would 20 kHz PWM be ok? Is there a better choice than VN5E050 for driving a proportional hydraulic valve (24V, 0-2.6A)? Maybe there is an IC with a h-bridge solution to eliminate power loss of the diode? Any suggestions are appreciated! Henrik
