Hi,
I am trying to get my DVP3 emulator running; however, I am getting an error message ''The last emulator update probably failed, would you like to retry now?'' when I attempt to start a debugging session in Visual Develop. If I choose ''Yes'' to retry the update, I get a dialog that doesn't seem to do anything that remains on the screen with no way to close or cancel it that sits there for over an hour; if I choose ''no'', I get ''''** Connection error (usb://usb): gdi-error in hds: [10024] emulator initialization error'' How can I resolve this?Options

The emulator firmware update exists on emu3 familly only...
Make sure that you choosed ''dvp3'' as debug instrument (menu debug instrument / target settings)Options

Yes, this does indeed fix it.
