Hello everybody!
I want to know if it's possible to use an internal timer not being obliged to reserve 4pins on the STR710F?2005-04-29 03:39 AM
Hello Merchez,
Normally in STR71x familly you have an internal timer, it consists of a 16-bit counter driven by a programmable prescaler. It may be used for a variety of purposes. I cant understand what do you say by using 4pins on the STR710F?? and wich pins can be used, you think? With regards, Hich :-]2005-04-29 03:45 AM
Hi
Is the internal timer the same as the timer3, timer2, timer1, or timer0? Because for example timer3 is on pins 71, 72, 73, 74! So if i use the internal timer, do i have to reserve those pins to make my timer running, or not? regards Dam2005-04-29 04:28 AM
Hi,
Using the STR71x timer, you are not obliged to keep those pins reserved. Cheers, Hich ;)
