Hugo G.

Good morning everyone, I'm Hugo, a university student preparing my final year project on preventative AI.
I'd like to do a demonstration for it, and that's where I have some questions, which I hope you can help me with.
I want to install different sensors (measuring vibrations, energy consumption, and temperatures) on construction platforms so I can collect real-time metrics from these sensors and upload this data to a database for later analysis.
My questions range from which sensors you would recommend (keeping in mind that I'm a student and don't have a company's budget) to how to install them correctly and how to upload the data as it's collected to a database.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

For general ideas, search "Condition-Based Maintenance", "Condition-Based Monitoring", "Machine Learning", etc

Hello @huggo67 and welcome to the ST community,
Read How to create a multi-state vibrations classifier using NanoEdge AI studio
Watch this video, at this link
That expansion board features different sensors, temperature, gyro, pressure etc ..

If you want a ready-made unit to do this part, consider:
STEVAL-PROTEUS1 - Industrial sensor evaluation kit for condition monitoring based on the 2.4 GHz STM32WB5MMG module
STEVAL-STWINBX1 - STWIN.box - SensorTile Wireless Industrial Node Development Kit

Meanwhile, it's an NRND product (not recommended for new design).
