Hi.
Can the RTC kicks back the STR710 to life when it is in stop mode? The datasheet is not explicit about that. Thanks! BernardOptions

Hi,
The device can be Wake-up from STOP mode by the configured external wake-up lines (XTI unit), and the RTC alarm can be mapped as External Interrupt Line (line 15). By the way, the RTC can kicks back the STR710 to life when it is in stop mode. :p :D regards, HichOptions

Hello,
For the RTC operation you will have to keep the 3.3V supply on the V33 pins. Only in Standby mode keeping V3.3, in order to reduce power consumption it is possible to bypass the Low Power Voltage regulator but V18BKP pin must be connected to an external 1.8V through a diode in this case. Hope that this can helps, REgards, Hich :-]
