Hello,
I'm new and I have a question of beginner. So I have a ST10R167 and I wish to program it. If I have understood, this ic have an internal rom and I have already an ic programmed. Can I recover his program to send it in another empty ic ? If yes, which software could I use to ? Can I use the software st10flasher 2.4 ? Can I use a converter base DIL48/PQFP144 to program it (because I have a device programmer DIL48)? Is it possible that I cannot read the program (program locked in reading) ? In fact, I just want to copy/stick the program. Thank you for your answer.Options

Hello Neila,
Thanks for your quick answer but I don't understand ! Here it is the block diagram, and you can see just like me an internal rom takes part in the functional mode of the ST10R167-Q3. ST10R167 > R for ROM ST10F... > F for FLASH Could you explain to me ? Thanks. ________________ Attachments : SurveyReport_1_.pdf : https://st--c.eu10.content.force.com/sfc/dist/version/download/?oid=00Db0000000YtG6&ids=0680X000006I0NN&d=%2Fa%2F0X0000000bYB%2FtvrzSGr90DQVqPhQkGMGrsZvO6yOLLIcfMH6M0XAeCg&asPdf=falseOptions

If I do understand this time the references has changed
In the past the ST 10 R 167 was different because the block diagram I possess puts to light an internal rom and it's not the case any more. So the generic family ST 10 X makes now a difference with the last generation of chips. Is it all right if I replace now an OLD ST10R167 by a NEW ST10C167 ? And what would be the software to be used for programming it ? Thank you for your answer
