I have just noticed the timings used for the LCD (DK3200/DK3300) dev boards are not within spec for a typical intelligent lcd.
The main point I have noticed is the enable line, this is set for approx 130-140ns (@36MHz) this should be minimum 230ns (total cycle 450ns) to comply with the Hitachi spec. Surely if the dk boards are used as a design starter, they should comply with these timings ? Regards sjoOptions

Thanks for your input, we will look into it. By the way, the LCD used on the DK boards are Hantronix not Hitachi.

Thanks for your reply.
I was really referring to the chipset, as nearly all (Samsung,Novatek,Sitronix,JRC) are based on the Hitachi HD44780 controller, even though Hitachi have stopped making this. Regards sjo
