I have a Dell Optiplex 7020 which has an ST TPM version 1.2. In order to run Windows 11 I need to upgrade to a TPM version 2.0. Is it possible for the end-user to do the upgrade? If so, what part do I need for TPM version 2.0?

The current specs are:

TPM Manufacturer version 13.12

PPI Specification Version 1.2

TPM specification sub-version 2,3

Welcome, @Paul.Sicard, to the community!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade the TPM from 1.2 to 2.0 by simply exchanging the TPM chip, as it has to be supported by the BIOS/UEFI.
