cleaning out my drawers and found some 8-pin IC’s wirh the marking: ST CHN NESSSN K7U826 

Does someone know what these do and have a data sheet?

Reading my own post. It’s the  NE555N. A pulse generator.

Welcome in our STCommunity ! Yep this is the famous NE555 ( Time clocking pulse ) it was also my first Touch with ST product with a 5V Regulator used in 1991 🙂 some nostalgia.. for me
